Greater Dayton RTA leads the region in public transportation options, providing more than 11 million passenger trips each year. Convenience and accessibility top the list of RTA’s priorities with vehicles operating 21 hours a day every day of the year. Thirty-one routes serve all of Montgomery County as well as Wright Patterson Air Force Base and Wright State University in Greene County.

An expansive RTA fleet includes diesel buses, electric trolley buses, Project Mobility vans and buses, and Wright Flyer streetcars. All RTA vehicles are climate-controlled, clean and comfortable, and every bus includes wheelchair lifts and bike racks. Destination and route signs are easy to read and all major stops are announced. Braille hailer kits also are available by request to visually impaired passengers.
